The Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center is a Veterans Administration hospital in Augusta, Georgia (United States). The center has two campuses: the Downtown Division and the Uptown Division. The Downtown Division is a seven-story〔http://www1.va.gov/augustaga/page.cfm?pg=4〕 complex in Augusta's Medical District. Emergency Room services are located at the Downtown Division. The Downtown Division, located at 950 15th Street, Augusta, GA, a 325-foot skywalk crosses Harper Street and connects the medical center to the Medical College of Georgia's medical center.〔 Note that this is a Federal Hospital and as such they deny you the right to carry your own legal and licensed handgun into the hospital to protect yourself. Protection for patients in other VA Hospitals like Ft. Hood have proven totally ineffective. As f this date, Charlie Norwood Hospital has posted signs that photos and video are not permitted at the Charlie Norwood Facility. Seems at this time to be a single hospital policy and makes you wonder why this policy has been adopted. Patients will be quick to tell you it has little if anything to do with Patent Privacy as anyone can walk in and all around the building during normal service hours. The Uptown Division, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA, is located in a residential/mixed-use area on Wrightsboro Road. The center was renamed in honor of the late Charlie Norwood (1941–2007), a former dentist and U.S. congressman from Georgia who died in office. ==See also== *List of Veterans Affairs medical facilities *Medical College of Georgia *University Hospital (Augusta, Georgia) *Doctors Hospital (Augusta, Georgia) *Fort Gordon, Georgia 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
